Q. How does your service work?
A. We install a small wireless module and antenna on the outside of your home. This creates a wireless link to one of our many access points. From the wireless module mounted on your home we connect a standard network cable and connect this to your (wifi) broadband router/access point.
Q. My laptop is Wifi, can I connect anywhere in your coverage area?
A. No, Our system is not Wifi. Our system creates a wireless link to your home. You can install a wifi router/access point for wifi enabled devices at your residence.
Q. What happens if I move?
A. To move the service We have to uninstall and reinstall the equipment. There is no charge to move the equipment to your new residence. Please check with us before moving so we can ensure coverage in your new location.
Q. Do you provide a router with the installation?
A. No, you must supply your own broadband router/access point. We stock a limited supply of these for purchase at time of installion. Ask for availablity when scheduling an appointment.
Q. What happens if I cancel Service before the 3 month service agreement?
A. You will be billed for the remainder of the agreement.
Q. I no longer want the service, do I return the equipment?
A. Just give us a call, we will send a technician to uninstall the equipment. If the equipment is not returned to us, we will bill you the cost of the equipment ($300.00).
Q. What is the difference between Residential and Business Class packages?
A. Business class packages have special QoS rules applied to help prioritize traffic over the network.
Q. What does the Commercial PTP connection provide over the Business Class packages?
A. This equipment is dedicated to your conection using our point to point antenna.
